Many of our friends have asked "How is the Kilauea Volcano erruption affecting our community?"

Thank you for checking on us.  Being over 110 miles away from the active eruption, we are fortunate to be safe and well.  In the past month for only a few days have we been dealing with the issues of Vog and its effect on our health.  The beaches, ocean and wildlife are fine.  We covet your prayers as an island population for the displaced and businesses that are being harmed.  Please pray that the eruption ends.   For updates visit here.Thank you for your donations that helps change these victims lives forever.

Jesus said, “I have come that you may have LIFE and LIFE more abundantly.”  John 10:10b

Wikipedia says, "Abundant life" refers to life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength for mind, body, and soul.[3] "Abundant life" signifies a contrast to feelings of lack, emptiness, and dissatisfaction, and such feelings may motivate a person to seek for the meaning of life and a change in their life.

Our focus for the rest of this year is to experience the abundant life and help those in our community to live it too.  As such we are in the process of becoming the 1st Faith-Based Blue Zone Project (BZP) Organization in our community.  One of the things the project identified is that people who are involved in a faith based organization live longer and better lives.   The benefit to you and I is that we will experience improved health and well -being.  We will have opportunities to attract new members, and support others to find their purpose.  Will you help me in taking the BZP Pledge?  If this is something that excites you, I am looking for a few people to serve on our BZP Committee that would help us achieve our goal.  Our benchmark is to have 60 of our members sign up to participate.  By taking the Blue Zone Pledge with me, you have taken the step toward living a longer, healthier, happier life and have joined hundreds of your friends, neighbors, and co-workers in transforming well-being in Hawaii.
